🦒 Gary Vaynerchuk’s VeeFriends NFT project is bringing stuffed animals to the market for the holidays. He announced a partnership with Macy’s and Toys R Us to create plush toys from his original hand drawn creations.

Funding Activity Picks Up Across Web3
đź’° Horizon grabbed $40MM for blockchain trading card games. Golden added $40MM for onchain data rewards. Popular NFT project Cool Cats secured an investment from web3 leader Animoca Brands. A new fund was launched by Conviction with $100MM to invest in web3 startups.

Kim K Gets Slapped by SEC
⚖️ Kim Kardashian settled with the SEC and agreed to pay a $1.26MM fine for her promotion of a Crpyto token. In a post on Instagram, Kim K told her massive follower base to check out EthereumMax. She used the common social media disclaimer “THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL ADVICE BUT….” which did not protect her. The SEC said her failure to disclose a $250K payment for the promotion sealed her fate here.
