Polygon Inks Two New Partnerships

πŸš€ Layer-2 leader Polygon inked a deal with Salesforce to build onchain loyalty programs for businesses. Polygon also announced an alliance with Immutable to advance web3 gaming. Additionally, web3 golf community LinksDAO won the bid to buy a golf course in Scotland.

SEC Comes After Coinbase and Others

βš–οΈ The SEC has sent Coinbase a Wells Notice, preparing for possible enforcement action against the Crypto leader. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong came out swinging, challenging the SEC that they are the most proactive market participant and threatening to battle this in the courts. The SEC also charged Tron founder with selling unregistered securities and settled with multiple influencers for improper promotions including Jake Paul and Lindsay Lohan. 8 YouTubers were sued by FTX customers for their promotion of the failed exchange.

Active Funding Week for Web3 Startups

πŸ’° Crunchbase reports that VCs continue to invest in web3 startups. Coinstack shares a list of the Top 300 Crypto VC firms. CCP Games raised a $40MM funding round for web3 gaming. Free speech internet builder Tomi also got $40MM. Bitkeep wallet provider and Pixelcraft Studios web3 gamer each added $30MM. OP3N closed a $28MM funding for Amazon meets WhatsApp strategy. Seed Club Ventures received $25MM for their DAO accelerator. Crypto quant trader Synthetix announced $20MM new cash.
